International Engineering Programs

Penn State is a global university educating students from around the world. The mission of the Penn State International Engineering Programs (IEP) is to further connections between Penn State domestic students and Penn State students from abroad, so both can create and benefit from meaningful interactions. We strive for graduating students who have a global mindset and are globally and culturally competent. We believe that international students are vital to the intellectual life of the University and to its education, research, and diversity mission. We are here to support the College of Engineering international students’ journey at Penn State and promote cross-cultural sharing and understanding among all of our students.

About

Founded to serve students from groups underrepresented in engineering, the Center for Engineering Outreach and Inclusion assists College of Engineering students, faculty, and staff with equity and inclusion engagement. The center leads the implementation of evidence-based best practices to support student belonging and degree attainment, while also encouraging involvement with justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion programs and organizations.
