MEP Information Session - Prospective Student Visit

Informational session for the Multicultural Engineering Program followed by a tour from MEP student leaders

The Multicultural Engineering Program (MEP) at Penn State strives to foster a welcoming environment that celebrates culture and inclusion while working towards increasing the recruitment and retention of racially and ethnically minoritized students pursuing engineering degrees. We offer various programs to engage incoming first-year students as well as provide current students with academic support, professional development, and social/cultural enrichment.

During your Prospective Student Visit, you will attend two informational sessions followed by a tour led by current engineering students. As an alternative to the tour portion of the experience described above, the Multicultural Engineering Program (MEP)  will provide you with the opportunity to attend an informational session for MEP followed by a tour from MEP student leaders. The tour will cover the same content as the standard tour, with the added benefit of your MEP tour guides sharing their personal experiences as participants of the Multicultural Engineering Program.
