MEPO Sponsorship

The Multicultural Engineering Program Orientation (MEPO) is seeking partners to participate in Multicultural Engineering Program Orientation Corporate and Alumni Networking Fair, which takes place annually as part of MEPO.

MEPO is a week-long orientation program that introduces first-year multicultural students to key aspects of academic success and career exploration that ensures a successful transition from high school to college.

Our research indicates that students who participate in MEPO consistently outperform their counterparts who do not participate in the program. They are also more likely to secure internships and co-ops. MEPO participants take part in many activities, seminars, and workshops that not only prepare them for success inside the classroom but also prepares them for a successful career in engineering.

The MEPO Networking Fair connects our corporate partners with diverse future interns and employees who are eager to begin on the path to their future career. This is an excellent opportunity for sponsors to meet their future workforce.

The MEPO Networking Fair provides corporate sponsors with the opportunity to get the inside track on talented students who will be seeking internships soon. It’s also a great branding opportunity to demonstrate support for a world-class program that assists Penn State students in achieving academic and career success.

Companies may participate in the MEPO Networking Fair by sponsoring an in-person booth with an $1,000 contribution or a virtual booth with a $1,000 contribution (virtual booths are limited to four booths). Each sponsor will have the opportunity to provide two to five company representatives per booth. In addition, each corporate partner will receive résumés of all student participants and upper-division student leaders.
