Alumni and Industry Relations

About Our Alumni

Our alumni are our most proud accomplishments and our biggest supporters. MEP and WEP alumni have formed two amazing alumni groups to help support the Center of Engineering Outreach and Inclusion. Each of the groups holds periodic networking receptions in cities throughout the United States. They also assist us in many other capacities, including MEPO and WEPO.

95% of our program funding comes from our alumni and corporate sponsors. If any of the MEP or WEP programs changed your life, please help us continue to offer them to all of the future engineers that walk through our doors by donating online.

About Our Sponsors

The Center for Engineering Outreach and Inclusion provides various enrichment opportunities to students who are underrepresented in the engineering profession. We are comprised of two award-winning programs: the Multicultural Engineering Program (MEP) and the Women in Engineering Program (WEP). Our mission is to improve the recruitment and retention of underrepresented multicultural groups and women who are pursuing a degree in engineering. We provide a number of first-year experiences, academic enhancement, recruitment and outreach, and professional development programs and activities; to actively promote an equitable and productive learning and work environment within the College of Engineering.
