Change of Campus Leadership Conference

The Change of Campus Leadership Conference (COCLC) is traditionally a three-day orientation program held the week prior to the start of the fall semester. The program is designed for Commonwealth Campus students who are transitioning to the University Park campus in the College of Engineering. The program focuses on giving students the tools they need for a successful transition to the College of Engineering. These tools include team building, mentoring, leadership experience, corporate networking, and professional development. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and university compliance, the COCLC will be offered virtually Monday, August 17, 2020 - Tuesday, August 18, 2020.

Why participate?

The benefits to participating in the Change of Campus Leadership Conference include:

  • Build community
  • Participate in professional development workshops
  • Meet and connect with a mentor who will help you get involved on campus and assist in your transition

Our focus

Participants will take part in team building activities and professional development breakout sessions. The program will be hosted online as a remote program. The program provides a unique opportunity to meet other students who are transitioning to University Park with similar majors in engineering. Participants are paired with a mentor who will help guide them to become more comfortable with the college and campus communities.

Cost

There will be no program cost for the one-day conference.
